Chris Wild

Chris Wild also known as The Retronaut is an English blogger and the creator of the blog "How to be a Retronaut". In its review of How to be a Retronaut, the Guardian newspaper said: "Rather than nostalgia or folly, the aim is enlightenment, wonder and the pleasure of weirdness".[1]

Biography

In March 2010, Wild was interviewed for BBC Radio 5 Live's Outriders. As the show's presenter Jamillah Knowles said: "How to be a Retronaut plays with our understanding of historical documents, encounters and time itself."

In April 2010, How to be a Retronaut was made "Blog of the Month"by TheGoodWebGuide.[2]

In June 2010, Wild was Guest Editor for TheGoodWebGuide.[3]

Wild is a speaker at the TEDGlobal 2010 conference. According to his official TED biography, Wild defines a "retronaut" as "someone who goes back in time using just perception".[4]
